Ahsoka Tano's White Blades and What They Cost

Ahsoka's first pair were green — a main blade and a shorter shoto, built for the Jar'Kai two-blade style she used through the Clone Wars. She left them behind when she left the Jedi Order, took them back when Anakin returned them to her before the Siege of Mandalore, and lost them along with everything else in the aftermath of Order 66.
What she carried afterward was different. Ahsoka's later blades burn white, and no naturally occurring kyber crystal produces that colour. The white blades come from crystals she took from an Inquisitor — Imperial dark side agents who used bled crystals stripped from murdered Jedi. Rather than use corrupted stones, she purified them, undoing the bleeding.
The result isn't blue or green returning. A healed crystal comes back colourless, and colourless kyber produces a white blade. It's a crystal that has been broken and restored rather than one that was never damaged, which is not a subtle piece of characterisation for someone who left the Jedi Order and never rejoined it.
She kept the two-blade configuration — one full-length, one shoto — in hilts of her own design, with distinctive angular emitters. She carried them through her search for Ezra Bridger and everything after.
