Blade Length Guide: If you’re not sure which length to use, choose 32 inch. 28 inch blades offer enhanced maneuverability and are ideal for intricate combat techniques, indoor saber spinning, or shorter individuals less than 5’5” or if you are using a double bladed saber. 32 inch blades provide the classic balance of reach and control. 36 inch blades deliver maximum reach and presence, perfect for dramatic displays and powerful strikes. Ideal for outdoor spinning use if you are 6 feet tall.

The Yungling Saber is provided by JJ. This hilt comes custom installed by hand with a Proffie Core by us. Or another core of your choosing, Xenopixel, CFX, or Golden Harvest, Xenopixel or SN Pixel. The additional cores will take an additional 2 weeks for us to provide the product to you.

This is a very special fully machined wood and metal hilt of our very own favourite Young fluffball.

JJ has a collaboration with Astoria Works. He will be offering his awesome weathering service for the hilts. JJ will be sending him un anodised, not assembled units for easier (and cheaper) weathering!

This is the 5th run of the Yungling, back by popular demand. This is the same design as the V3!
Changes from V2:

Although many people were happy with their V1 and V2 Yungling hilts. JJ decided to make the changes requested by customers over the years.

- JJ made the shroud insert, a tapered wedge shape. Accurate to the in show render.

- JJ added the engraving. This will be CNC milled on the unit before anodising. So to really highlight the effect, you could do a dark coloured acrlic paint wash in the engraving.

- JJ added the faux rivet feature on the back too.


Specs:
Saber will accept 7/8" blade. The internal cavity for install is 1" in internal diameter.
The handle will be machined wood (that's right, real wood) and of course machined T6 6061 aluminium that will be anodized.
It will be designed of course, to accept EFX installations. There will, as always, be a chassis available for purchase just after the run has finished.

Basically, what you see is what you get.

Choose from 3 different packs of 5 saber fonts from Mythomix. Each pack contains amazing saber fonts to add to your saber. These fonts will be available to install on your saber's SD card. Installable with the Xeno Configurator app (available for most Baselit and all Xenopixel sabers). Or install the files directly to the SD Card from the files provided to you! Get one, two, or all three!

Which Saber length is right for you?

The most common choice for a saber is 32 inches. This is a good balance for outdoor saber spinning and choreographed duels.

If you’re height is less than 6 feet, or you’re spinning indoors, using a saber staff or double bladed saber, 28 inches is likely be the best choice. We can also offer shorter customized lengths for blades.

If you are involved in pro dueling, or are taller than 6 feet, 36 inches is the length for you.
