Yungling Saber

The Yungling Saber is provided in partnership with Jawa's Junkyard who designed and manufactured this hilt. This hilt comes installed with a Proffie Core with an elegant black synthetic “eco” chassis. This unique saber is inspired by the one used by a wonderful Wookie.

This saber is carefully handmade by Jawa's Junkyard, hand-installed and packaged with care by us, and then sent to you. You have the option to also have Astoria’s Workshop weather this saber as well.

This hilt is made with real wood, not plastic, along with T6 6061 aluminum. 

This is a very special fully machined wood and metal hilt of our very own favourite Young Wookie.

Jawa is also very happy to announce a collaboration with Astoria Works. He will be offering his awesome weathering service for the hilts. Jawa will be sending him un-anodized, not assembled units for easier (and cheaper) weathering! To get a weathered version, first order it directly from Jawa's Junkyard here.

- Jawa made the shroud insert, a tapered wedge shape. Accurate to the in show render.

- Jawa added the engraving. This will be CNC milled on the unit before anodising. So to really highlight the effect, you could do a dark coloured acrlic paint wash in the engraving.

- Jawa added the faux rivet feature on the back too.

Specs:
Saber will accept 7/8" blade. The internal cavity for install is 1" in internal diameter.
The handle will be machined wood (that's right, real wood) and of course machined T6 6061 aluminium that will be anodized.
It will be designed of course, to accept EFX installations. There will, as always, be a chassis available for purchase just after the run has finished.

Basically, what you see is what you get.
